My Ancestors hold back my tears: The Inspiration

My inspiration for the mask came from the carved eyes. Since they were so distinct, I knew I had to make them captivating and the star of the show. I was then inspired to add the cotton up top to make it appear as if the mask was so caught up in a vision that it was blowing off steam.
