I was inspired by the faith and resilience of Ghanaian people, especially their belief that “God is from Ghana”. God is symbolized by the gold foil and the purple symbolizes royalty and faith. The red and yellow and green are the colors of the Ghanaian flag.

Ramya Kumar (behavioral neuroscience major), in her 5th yea. She participated as student in the 2019 Summer 2 Dialogue of Civilizations to Ghana. She returned in 2022 as a program coordinator and teaching assistant for the Dialogue.
